Annual Kauai Weather Trends
The weather conditions in Kauai are quite pleasant year around. The temperatures are in the 70’s to low 80’s as shown in the graph below of annual Lihue temperatures (Fahrenheit).
The rain falls more in the winter months than the summer months but the difference is not huge. This chart shows how the rainfall in Princeville is quite a bit more than in Waimea. Remember this as Waimea, is a great escape if it is raining on you during your Kauai vacation.
Considering the temperature, you can visit Kauai almost any time of the year. If you want to avoid the rain, and it does rain in Kauai, you should avoid the winter months (November to March).
